Tony Award-nominated Taboo star Euan Morton will release his solo CD debut in March of 2006.

While details on the recording are not yet available, it will be entitled
NewClear.

Morton received Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations (as well as a Theatre World Award) for playing Boy George in Taboo--he had previously appeared in the West End production. Morton also was seen in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of Hair, and in the New York Musical Theatre Festival show Caligula. Morton is currently appearing in the New York-bound Tony Kushner/Maurice Sendak opera Brundibar, which will run through December 28th at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

Morton, who has also been seen in concert at Joe's Pub, The Zipper Theatre and Town Hall (where he performed an entire act in a two-act concert with Eden Espinosa as part of The First Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival), will soon be seen in concert at Arlington, VA's Signature Theatre on February 20th, 2006. He will also be featured in the new play Measure for Pleasure at the Public Theater from February 21st through March 2006.
