Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra of Mexico Performs at St. Peter's Church Tonight

Today, September 25, the Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra of Mexico, a development program that actively teaches values with music to at-risk teens, will make its U.S. debut in New York City.

The session will feature a concert of Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra of Mexico with special guest performer Alex Lora tonight, September 25, 2013, from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church, 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street, NYC.

Esperanza Azteca is a national network of youth orchestras and choirs that provide young people from low-income families a better quality of life. We seek to form better human beings through music.

The project is a joint effort among local communities, local, state and federal governments and the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, spearheaded by Fundación Azteca. The program currently features 55 orchestras in Mexico and El Salvador, encouraging values such as discipline, excellence and teamwork in over 13,000 talented young people.
