Equinox Theatre announces a change in its upcoming schedule. In place of The Queen of Bakersfield and other tales of dust and moonlight by Greg Owens, Equinox Theatre presents Frankie and Johnny in the Clair to Lune by Terrence McNally playing Friday and Saturday nights from February 26th through March 13 at 8pm.

Mix the romantic score of Debussy's Clair de Lune with sexy New York wit and humor and what do you have? Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune by Terrence McNally, a modern fairy tale about a waitress scarred by an abusive relationship and a short-order cook with a past that includes jail and a failed marriage. Yet, from the romantic matchup of their names to a laundry list of other coincidental similarites, these damaged souls personify the possiblity that a one-night stand can metamorphose into a real and soul-healing relationship.

This show features the acting talents of Eric Concord and Chellie Newman. For Adults only due to sexual content and some nudity.

Equinox Theatre is at 2304 N. 7th Ste C-1 across the street from Murdoch's. Show time is 8pm. Tickets are $12 each and are available by calling 587-0737 Ext. 1. There will be a wine and dessert reception prior to the opening night show. Reservations are recommended.
