Gerard Schwarz, internationally renowned Music Director of public television's All-Star Orchestra, will conduct the Arco Ensemble in masterpieces for string orchestra at Kean University's Enlow Recital Hall on Sunday, November 23 at 3 p.m. The program will include Grieg's Holberg Suite, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, and Maestro Schwarz's own arrangement of the String Sextet from Richard Strauss's opera Capriccio. This exciting hour of music will be followed by refreshments and lively discussion with Maestro Schwarz and the musicians of Arco.

The "Concert & Café" series is a new venture, initiated in the fall of 2013. Following an hour-long concert, the audience is invited to the adjoining café for light refreshment and informal discussion with the highly accomplished members of the Arco Ensemble.

Tickets to the Arco Ensemble in Enlow Hall are $25 and include access to the post performance café with complimentary coffee, tea, Prosecco and light refreshments.
