Emily Skinner, Jackie Hoffman, et al. Set for GREEN HEART Reading

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that San Diego's Old Globe Theatre will back a reading of the 1997 musical The Green Heart. The reading will feature a revised script and a slew of Broadway stars including: Emily Skinner, Jackie Hoffman, Fred Applegate. The event will be held August 8-12.

The reading will feature music direction by John McDanieland direction by Carl Andress. Also set for the event are Heidi Blickenstaff, Wade Elkins, Peter Marinos, Tally Sessions and Mary Stout.

The musical revolves around William Graham, a selfish, egotistical millionaire, who discovers that he's broke. His mistress, Uta, decides that he should marry a wealthy woman who will support them both, Bill finds Henrietta, a Professor of Botany and heiress to a large fortune. 

The Old Globe is located in San Diego's Balboa Park at 1363 Old Globe Way. There are numerous free parking lots available throughout the park. Valet parking is also available ($10). For additional parking information visit www.BalboaPark.org.
