Having recently inked a record deal with Dr. Luke's Sony Music Entertainment label Kemosabe Records, Swedish MC/singer Elliphant is releasing her acclaimed single 'Down On Life' today on iTunes.

The single, which has already been hailed by the likes of Katy Perry, Pitchfork and Perez Hilton, explores the everyday anxieties and desire of wanting to get away from it all. The track, written by the singer herself, is cleverly disguised into a dreamy and driven upbeat pop hit, with a soaring chorus that is enough to get anyone out of a slump and back in the game of life!

Ellinor Olovsdotter aka Elliphant recently completed a North American tour with Twin Shadow, but first gained international acclaim back in April 2012 when she released her debut single 'Tekkno Scene' on Swedish independent label Record Company TEN. Sounding not unlike the twisted illegitimate offspring of MIA and Diplo, her unapologetic and in-your-face Jamaican influenced dancehall pop soon prompted the world to sit up, pay attention and see what else this Swedish solo artist had up her sleeve.

Elliphant is currently working on her debut album and plans to return to North America later this year for more tour dates.
