Following Patrick Dempsey's surprising exit from ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY, series co-star and on-screen wife, Ellen Pompeo, has opened up, sharing her thoughts on his departure - and where the show goes from here.

Taking to Twitter, Pompeo posted the text to the left, sharing her excitement to tell the rest of Meredith's story on the beloved medical drama.
