John Lennon is back for one night only in "JUST IMAGINE," an evening celebrating the life and music of the legendary pop star at the Elgin Community College Arts Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m.

This unique, concert experience integrates archival footage and photos as the critically acclaimed Tim Piper, backed by rock band Working Class Heroes, delivers Lennon's well known songs as well as the stories behind them. As Lennon, Piper recounts the musician's life, from his tumultuous childhood to his emergence as a musical and social icon that has influenced generations. A multimedia musical experience, "JUST IMAGINE" puts its audience one-on-one with the man himself as Piper relates the birth of the Beatles, the pressures of superstardom, and Lennon's complex relationships with lovers and band mates.

A multifaceted musician, actor, and songwriter, Tim Piper has traveled the world interpreting the music of Lennon and the Beatles in live performances and on television. Working Class Heroes backs Piper with Greg Piper on bass, Don Butler on guitar, Morley Bartnoff on keyboard and Don Poncher on drums. With direction by Steve Altman, "JUST IMAGINE" is the perfect opportunity for music lovers of all ages to "Come Together" at the ECC Arts Center's Blizzard Theatre.

"JUST IMAGINE" arrives at the Elgin Community College Arts Center in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the release of the Beatles historic debut album, "Please Please Me." The landmark album, originally released in March 1963, reigned at the top of UK album charts for thirty weeks and included hits "I Saw Her Standing There" and the Lennon-McCartney-penned "Please Please Me."
