Early One Morning, a one-woman musical following the life of Mary Magdalene, will run March 23 and 24 at the Salvation Army's Theatre 315 as part of its "Set Apart" series. Starring Cindy Marchionda (The Wizard of Oz at Madison Square Garden), the show features words and music by Ron Melrose (Jersey Boys' Music Director) and is produced by Lauren Yarger.

"The story begins at dawn as Mary, overwhelmed with grief, faces going to the tomb to prepare Christ's body for burial. She turns to her memories for comfort and we meet Mary before she knew Jesus, doing what was necessary to survive and building a wall around herself to keep from feeling the pain," state press notes.

Theatre 315 is located at the Salvation Army Times Square, 315 West 47th Street. Tickets are $18, and there is a student discount available. Curtain each night is at 8:00. Complimentary tickets may be reserved by emailing masterworkproductions@yahoo.com. Please include your name, phone number, which evening you'd like to attend and number of tickets requested.
