ESPN Continues Coverage of UEFA EURO 2016 This Weekend with Knockout Round

ESPN's coverage of UEFA EURO 2016 resumes this weekend with the Round of 16 matches across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN DEPORTES and WatchESPN, Saturday, June 25 through Monday, June 27. ESPN DEPORTES Radio will also broadcast all matches. The remaining field features a number of notable storylines:

The last three FIFA World Cup winners: Italy (2006), Spain (2010) and Germany (2014);
All five European nations - England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain - that have won the FIFA World Cup - a combined 11 World Cup titles;

Five countries that have won 10 of the past 14 European Football Championships (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Slovakia - as Czechoslovakia);

Three of the four UEFA European Football Championship debutants advanced to the Round of 16 (Iceland, Northern Ireland and Wales);

France vs. Republic of Ireland (Sunday, June 26 at 8:30 a.m. ET) is the first meeting between the two countries since the infamous World Cup qualifying playoff match in November 2009 when France's Thierry Henry scored a controversial goal with his hand;

Italy vs. Spain (Monday, June 27 at 11:30 a.m.) is a rematch of the UEFA EURO 2012 title game.

In addition to the television coverage, ESPN3 Surround will offer exclusive content for all eight Round of 16 matches with four different UEFA EURO 2016 streams for each match - the Spider Cam feed, the Spider Cam triple-box feed, the Tactical Cam feed, and the Tactical Cam triple-box feed, offering fans alternate camera angles, experiences and stories around the game.
