Drew Fornarola And Marshall Pailet Team Up For Concert at the Beechman, 6/23

MAC Award-nominated songwriter Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE The Musical) and Broadway's Marshall Pailet (ON A GLORIOUS DAY, Fringe's upcoming JURASSIC PARQ: The Broadway Musical) team up to rock the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Wednesday, June 23 at 9:30pm, joined by some of Broadway's top young talent. Fornarola and Pailet will present selections from their shows, as well as debuting a set of songs from their first full-length collaboration, SUPER CLAUDIO BROS.: A Videogame Musical, which will have its world premiere this summer in Washington, DC (commissioned and produced by the New Musical Development Foundation, executive producer Charlie Fink). The evening will be directed by Scott Elmegreen with music direction by Zak Sandler.

Performers will include: Marie-France Arcilla (WORKING); Mary Ellen Ashley (ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, YENTL); Laura Carbonell; Chris Critelli; Rick Desloge; Brandon Espinoza (GYPSY, BIG, WILL RODGERS FOLLIES, LES MISERABLES); Drew Fornarola; Ryan Goodale (SPELLING BEE Tour); Emily Klein (PARADE); Anne Letscher (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF); Tara Novie; Marshall Pailet (Tom Sawyer, SOUND OF MUSIC); Jesse Swenson (SPRING AWAKENING, 'Gossip Girl'); Lauren Williams (SUPER CLAUDIO BROS.); Alex Wyse (HBO's 'Bored to Death').

Drew Fornarola is a composer, lyricist, and playwright living in New York City. His work includes COLLEGE The Musical (NYMF Award for Excellence, published by Dramatic Publishing Company); THUCYDIDES (2009 Samuel French Festival Winner, Published by Samuel French); UNCLE PIRATE (Vital Theater) and VOTE FOR ME - A MUSICAL DEBATE (commissioned by Tony award-winning producer Robyn Goodman). His original underscore and sound design for Buddy Thomas' DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND is also published by Samuel French. Drew is the recipient of the NYMF Award for Excellence in Lyrics, and was named a Richard Rodgers Award Finalist in 2008. Drew has studied at Princeton University and the BMI Workshop. Marshall Pailet - recent writing credits include JURASSIC PARQ: The Broadway Musical (Upcoming Fringe NYC), ON A GLORIOUS DAY (formerly THE CHOCOLATE TREE) and WHERE IT'S AT. Upcoming writing projects include TRINITY and FUNK POND. Recent directing credits include STUCK, THE 49 PROJECT, THURSDAY, WITH KINGS IN THE BACK, THE 70 SCENES OF HALLOWEEN, THE DARQ KNIGHT, and BAT BOY. His work has been showcased at the NY Fringe Festival, NYMF, Prospect and TRU (New Voices Finalist). As an actor, he has performed on Broadway in THE ADVENTURES OF Tom Sawyer, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. He is a proud graduate of Yale University, and received the V.
