Doubt's Eileen Atkins Featured Tonight on 'Theater Talk'

Tonight, "Theater Talk" on Thirteen will welcome esteemed British actress/writer Eileen Atkins, the new star of Doubt on Broadway.

Atkins will discuss taking over the role of Sister Aloysius in
John Patrick Shanley's celebrated play about a nun and priest locked in a moral struggle over the well-being of a child.

Atkins, who has appeared in many plays in London, received Tony Award nominations for her Broadway performances in The Retreat from Moscow, Indiscretions, Vivat! Vivat Regina! and The Killing of Sister George.  She received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her work in The Unexpected Man and a Drama Desk Award for playing Virginia Woolf in the one-woman show A Room of One's Own.

The interview will air at 12:30 AM (early Saturday morning) PBS/Thirteen  in New York City and re-air on the station on Monday, Feb. 20 at 5 AM.
