Disney Introduces THE LITTLE MERMAID Second Screen Live FeatureIn honor of the new theatrical re-release of THE LITTLE MERMAID later this week, Disney has unveiled a technology-forward new feature available to fans who bring along their favorite interactive media device - namely: iPad - to a screening of the classic animated movie musical offering Second Screen Live.

THE LITTLE MERMAID attendees at Second Screen-equipped movie theaters will have the chance to access exclusive games, trivia, puzzles and sing-a-longs as well as much more via the new iPad app in the new Second Screen feature being introduced exclusively with this re-release.

The official description of Second Screen Live as it pertains to THE LITTLE MERMAID is as follows: "EXCLUSIVELY IN THEATERS STARTING SEPTEMBER 13, 2013. Bring your iPad with you to the special screenings of The Little Mermaid to interact with the film, play games, sing along, find new surprises and compete with other audience members."

THE LITTLE MERMAID will be re-released in select movie theaters nationwide on September 13.
