Disney Channel Wins Total Day for 143rd-Consecutive Week in Key Demo

For the week of March 3, 2014, powered by Friday's all-new line up of "Jessie," "Dog With A Blog" and "Fish Hooks," and Sunday's 'Night of Premieres' featuring "Liv and Maddie," "I Didn't Do It" and "Austin & Ally," Disney Channel was TV's #1 Total Day network for the 143rd-straight week among both Kids 6-11 (490,000/2.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (440,000/1.8 rating) - dates back to week of 6/13/11 - overshadowing Nickelodeon by double digits in the key youth measures.

Disney Channel defeated Nickelodeon by at least double digits for 121st time in the prior 122 weeks in Kids 6-11 (+26% - 490,000 vs. 389,000) and for 124th-straight week in Tweens 9-14 (+59% - 440,000 vs. 276,000) - dates back to week of 11/7/11 and 10/24/11, respectively.

In Prime, Disney Channel ranked as cable TV's #1 network for the 460th-consecutive week among Kids 6-11 (783,000/3.3 rating - 8+ years) and 196th-straight week among Tweens 9-14 (726,000/3.0 rating - 3+ years).

"Sofia the First" (Sat., 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.) stood as the week's #1 TV telecast in Kids 2-11 (1.7 million/4.3 rating) with the network home to the Top 8 TV telecasts in Kids 6-11 (Top 5 below) and Top 5 in Tweens 9-14:

24-Hour Disney Junior channel

Approaching its 1st-anniversary reporting public ratings, 24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked as TV's #1 preschool-dedicated Total Day network for the 49th-consecutive week among Total Viewers (408,000), Kids 2-5 (208,000/1.3 rating) and Boys 2-5 (101,000/1.3 rating) - every week since 4/1/13 - for the 32nd in Girls 2-5 (107,000/1.4 rating) and 37th in Women 18-49 (81,000).

Disney Junior channel delivered the Top 3 series across preschooler networks for the 4th-consecutive week in Kids 2-5:

Disney Junior channel topped Nick Jr. for the 49th-consecutive week in Kids 2-5 (+37% - 208,000 vs. 152,000) and Boys 2-5 (+44% - 101,000 vs. 70,000), 32nd in Girls 2-5 (+29% - 107,000 vs. 83,000), 37th in Women 18-49 (+21% - 81,000 vs. 67,000) and for the 48th time in the previous 49 weeks in Total Viewers (+32% - 408,000 vs. 310,000 - Nick Jr. tied for #1 during week of 6/3/13).

Disney Junior channel towered over Sprout by hefty triple-digit margins for the 49th week in a row among Total Viewers (+163% - 408,000 vs. 155,000), Kids 2-5 (+181% - 208,000 vs. 74,000), Girls 2-5 (+189% - 107,000 vs. 37,000) and Boys 2-5 (+173% - 101,000 vs. 37,000) and by at least double digits for 49th week running in Women 18-49 (+119% - 81,000 vs. 37,000).
