Discounted MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG Encore Screening Tickets Now Available

Discounted MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG Encore Screening Tickets Now AvailableA lot of severely discounted tickets for the upcoming January and February encore movie theater showings of the recently filmed West End production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's reverse-order musical comedy MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG are now available to purchase for Goldstar members.

Of note, select showings on January 18, February 10 and February 18 are now available to order at less than half the regular price for a limited time only.

The West End revival of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG was directed by West End leading lady and frequent Sondheim interpreter Maria Friedman, starring Damian Humbley, Mark Umbers and Jenna Russell. The production originally began at the vaunted Menier Chocolate Factory before transferring to the West End for an extended run last year.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG traces the friendship of three individuals - Frank, Charley and Mary - from the 1950s through the late 1970s in reverse-time, depicting their dreams coming true, nightmares realized and the tricks time plays on us all. The score features such Sondheim hallmarks as "Not A Day Goes By", "Good Thing Going" and "Old Friends", famously covered by Carly Simon, Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli, respectively, among other musical gems. The original short-lived 1981 Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince, the final collaboration between Sondheim and Prince on a new musical until BOUNCE nearly 25 years later. Additionally, the show features a book by COMPANY collaborator George Furth, based on the play of the same name by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.
