Philadelphia Music Theater Works will present a benefit gala,
VINTAGE: A CELEBRATION OF BROADWAY'S GOLDEN AGE, this January 25, 2010 at 8PM at the Ethical Society Building on Rittenhouse Square. Now in our second year, Philadelphia Music Theater Works will present an evening of songs from Broadway's most cherished catalog of musicals spanning the Golden Era of
Broadway.

The concert event will support Philadelphia Music Theater Works upcoming season of productions and developmental projects. Since Philadelphia Music Theater Works' inception, various groundbreaking developmental performances and work for
the musical theater found its start at PMTW and subsequently gone on to have major success in New York City and beyond. Now, as a kick off to the New Year and our new season we celebrate the work of the classic musical theater spanning
decades of beloved Broadway musicals, including songs by the likes of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, George & Ira Gershwin, Cy Coleman, Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim and many more in one unforgettable evening. Songs from Broadway's cherished catalog of classics will be performed by an outstanding roster of talent from Philadelphia and New York City under the musical direction
of resident music director, Christopher Ertelt.


The evening will be hosted by artistic director Jeremiah Downes and Alex Keiper (Barrymore Award Winner) and will feature performances by special guest Janine DiVita (WST's Oliver and Grease on Broadway), Claudia Carlsson, Laura Catlaw (Barrymore Award Nominee), Joey Contreras, Michael Doherty, Rory Donovan, Jennie Eisenhower (two-time Barrymore Award Winner), Sarah Gliko (Barrymore Award Nominee), Brad Greer (Altar Boyz), Michael Linden, Stearns Matthews (MAC Award Nominee), Kimberly Rehfuss (Taboo, Barrymore Award Nominee), Janet Rowley, Kate Schwarz, Amanda Wertz, Downes and Keiper.
