DCT is proud to present Love Letters by A. R. Gurney - directed by Kim Campbell. She has cast husband and wife actors Buster and Cindy Maloney to bring the script to life.

This unique theatre piece is comprised of exchanged letters over a lifetime. Andrew and Melissa, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. Their lives take different paths, but they stay in touch through letters over the years. In the end it is clear that they were always spiritually close although physically apart.

The Los Angeles Times described it as "...a deftly woven portrait of two distinctive and endearing characters whose correspondence sustains them through half a century of personal and cultural change."

Performances are September 23, 24 at 7:30 pm and September 25 at 2:00 pm at DCT's POINTBank Black Box Theatre located at 318 E. Hickory, Denton. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through The Campus Theatre Box Office Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. To purchase by phone, please call 940-382-1915.
