David Zwirner Set for Art Basel, Now thru 6/16

David Zwirner is pleased to participate in Art Basel (Hall 2 | Booth F5).

Featured will be new, previously unexhibited works by gallery artists, including drawings by Adel Abdessemed, paintings and works on paper by Francis Alÿs, a shelf sculpture by Carol Bove, watercolors by Suzan Frecon, paintings by Yayoi Kusama, a leather painting by Chris Ofili, a large scale photogram by Thomas Ruff, and paintings and pastel works by Lisa Yuskavage.

Also on view in Basel will be works by gallery artists Mamma Andersson, Marcel Dzama, Isa Genzken, Alice Neel, Raymond Pettibon, Neo Rauch, Fred Sandback, Al Taylor, and a presentation of a group of seminal paintings from the late 1980s-early 1990s by Luc Tuymans, as well as works by Alan Uglow, Blinky Palermo, Brice Marden, Cy Twombly, in addition to important paintings by Martin Kippenberger and Gerhard Richter.

Also on view will be sculptural works by Donald Judd, whose solo exhibition at David Zwirner's London gallery opens on June 20; sculptures by John McCracken, who will be the subject of a show in our new gallery on West 20th Street in New York this September - October; photographs by Philip-Lorca diCorcia, whose museum exhibition at Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt opens on June 20 and who will have forthcoming shows at both David Zwirner in New York (September) and London (October); and new work by Christopher Williams, whose solo exhibition at our London gallery runs through June 15.
