David Serero Set to Perform UK Tour Following Album Release

Baritone David Serero is set to perform a one man show in a UK tour, following the release of his new album, The Broadway Baritone.

Serero's album, set for a March 15 release, was recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and includes tracks from Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Camelot, South Pacific, Beauty and the Beast, Man of La Mancha, Show Boat, Fiddler on the Roof , My Fair Lady and Chicago. Serero's show features opera, broadway, jazz, popular music and comedy sets.

Serero, 32, has received international recognition and critical acclaim from all over the world. He's already performed more than 600 concerts and performances throughout the world - which have been broadcasted to an audience of over 30 million worldwide.

Serero has headlined a sold-out show at The Dominion Theatre for his West End solo debut, performed at Wembley Stadium and at the Royal College of Music, and given concerts at the Opera Garnier Paris, L'Olympia, The Eiffel Tower, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, and the Budapest Opera conducted by Placido Domingo, to name a few.

Recently, David performed his signature role of Don Quixote from Man Of La Mancha in Paris. He received the Award for Best Actor/Singer in a Musical for his interpretation of Don Quixote by the Dale Wasserman Foundation in Los Angeles.

He also performed the title role and produced the world premiere of Duke Ellington's only musical: Beggars Holiday. The cast album recording was released to crticial acclaim last year. David performed with Jermaine Jackson the musical "You Are Not Alone", a musical written, directed and produced by David Serero. David has produced and directed I Wish You Love, an album of jazz standards, with Jermaine Jackson and performed a duet together on Autumn Leaves. David recently made his Broadway solo debut at the Snapple Theater in New York.

Serero is scheduled to perform April 29 at Leicester Square Theatre (6 Leicester Place, London WC2H 7BX) at 7:00 p.m.; May 1 at The Glee Club, Birmingham (The Arcadian, 70 Hurst St, Birmingham, West Midlands B5 4TD) at 8:00 p.m.; May 3 at The Epstein Theatre Liverpool (Hanover House, 85 Hanover St, Liverpool, Merseyside L1 3DZ) at 8:00 p.m., and May 5 at Royal Northern College Of Music, Manchester (124 Oxford Rd, Manchester M13 9RD) at 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.davidserero.com/uk_tour_2014.
