David Link Named Chief Digital Officer at Lincoln Center

David Link has been appointed Chief Digital Officer, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA), it was announced today by Jed Bernstein, President. Link was previously Creative Director of The Wonderfactory, a digital innovation design studio that he co-founded. He comes to Lincoln Center with 20 years of experience in digital strategy, marketing, and product development for top media companies and Fortune 500 brands.

As Chief Digital Officer he is charged with enhancing and leveraging LCPA's utilization of digital technologies to provide engaging and industry-leading digital experiences on the Lincoln Center campus and online. This will include the redesign of LincolnCenter.org website, the development of new apps for mobile devices, and the development and implementation of other digital improvements that will make Lincoln Center a "smart campus." In collaboration with Andrew C. Wilk, executive producer of Live From Lincoln Center, he will forge partnerships to create, capture and distribute existing Lincoln Center content and develop new video assets and distribution deals in an effort to connect Lincoln Center's stories and artistry with its existing audience and expand its reach to new national and international patrons.

At The Wonderfactory David Link mentored and partnered with executives across a number of media sectors in the planning and execution of their company's digital business. There, he worked with such companies as Time Inc., Barnes & Noble, Lionsgate, NBC, Coca-Cola, NBA, and TV Guide to help them reinvent their consumer experience through new digital strategies. Before that, he was VP and Creative Director of the America Online internal creative studio that provided strategy and creative digital and video development for over 18 major content channels of AOL brands.

He started his career in traditional motion picture advertising for major motion picture studios in Los Angeles. He studied Film Directing at SUNY Purchase and Visual Communications at California Institute of the Arts.
