Seattle resident David Duvall comes to Palm Desert to perform his new show "David Loves Cole" on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert for the 7th season of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series. David's show is his version of the famous 1971 recording of "Bobby Short Loves Cole Porter". Tickets are $11 cash only and doors open at 1 PM for open seating.

These days, David Duvall is a very busy music and voice teacher in Seattle, as well as a musical director, arranger, director, writer, composer, and producer. In fact, some of his productions have already had success in past seasons of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series. In those, he wrote the script, did music arrangements, and was the pianist for other singers in tributes to Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Rosemary Clooney, and Patsy Cline. But for "David Loves Cole", he will play piano and sing the songs too - much like Bobby Short, and like David did on cruise ships for many years.

Singer and pianist David Duvall in "David Loves Cole" is at 2 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center, 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. Tickets are $11 cash only and sold at the door that opens at 1 PM with open seating beginning at 1:30. For more information, call 760-325-2731, or go to: www.lesmichaels.com/joslyn.
