Joe's Pub at The Public Theater announced today its initial lineup of fall programming set to debut in the newly renovated and improved iconic venue, located in New York City's East Village. Continuing to bring vastly diverse and critically acclaimed artists to one of New York's most culturally rich neighborhoods, the announced shows span almost every genre imaginable.

"Our goal has always been to bring the most talented and interesting performers to the most comfortable and intimate stage New York City has to offer," says Shanta Thake, Director at Joe's Pub. "As we prepare to reopen, we're confident that the inaugural shows in our newly renovated space continue to deliver on our promise of diversity and excellence."

All shows are on sale Thursday, August 18th at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online at joespub.com, where customers are now able to select their seat from an interactive seat map when purchasing, by phone at 212-967-7555, or in person at The Public Theater Box Office (1 PM to 6 PM) located at 425 Lafayette Street, NYC. Joe's Pub at The Public Theater is set to announce even more fall performances in the ensuing weeks.

OCTOBER

Stew and Heidi: Songs From Passing Strange ft. Jon Spurney

Join Stew, Heidi Rodewald and Jon Spurney for the grand re-opening of Joe's Pub as they take a journey back in time to re-visit the songs of Passing Strange, which began as a Public Theater commissioned work from Joe's Pub artist Stew and later went on to a critically acclaimed, Tony- Award-winning Broadway show and a Spike Lee-directed movie.

One of America's greatest musical treasures, Allen Toussaint presents A Southern Night featuring songs from the album as well as songs that relate to the Toussaint Family.
