This Spring on Thursday, March 7th, The Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring (DREAM) Project will be hosting their 2nd Annual benefit fundraiser in partnership with the Celia Cruz Foundation, honoring their achievements in children's education.

The benefit will take place at El Museo Del Barrio, the leading Latino cultural institution in New York City. Highlighting the rich history and culture shared by Latinos in honor of one of the world's most adored artist, Celia Cruz. An exclusive collection of memorabilia will be on display to invited guests in memory of the 10th anniversary of her unforgettable passing.

Suenos 2013 will host some of New York's prominent philanthropists, latino leading community members top celebrity guests for a spectacular cause...the future of tomorrow.

The benefit will have an approximate 300 attendees including guests of honor Sully Bonelly, Creative director for Isaac Mizrahi and Omer Pardillo Cid, President of The Celia Cruz Foundation and two-time Grammy Award winner. Our honorees will also be joined by special celebrity guests and media.

All proceeds from the event will go towards DREAM's early childhood development and at-risk youth programs, offering thousands of children the opportunity to escape the cycle of poverty. This will inspire and empower the children through access to quality education. The foundation has also received support from a number of US based companies, artists and lovers of Celia Cruz from around the world.
