Dim Sum Ha Gau and Siu Mai are coming to town again! Following its success in 2014, the Hong Kong Dance Company is bringing back the hilarious family dance drama - Dim Sum Adventures @ Lung Fung Teahouse 2.0 to Yuen Long Theatre (28-30 July) and Sha Tin Town Hall (4-6 August). The programme is one of the highlights of International Arts Carnival 2017.

Renowned Children's programme host Helen Tam takes the main role as Grandma/Dim Sum Master of Lung Fung Teahouse, she joins the league of talented Hong Kong Dance Company Children's & Youth Troupes members and HKDC professional dancers, takes over the delicious world of Cantonese dim sum, bringing a heartwarming tale full of laugh-out-loud moments. This is also an endearing story about family bonding, love and dream, presenting the most joyful and not-to-be-missed delight in summer vacation!

The story tells an excellent dim sum chef - the Big Sister/Grandma, her Lung Fung Teahouse is always full to the brim. But still, popularity can't fight with rocketing rent. On its final day, Grandma really hopes to sip tea and munch on dim sum at Lung Fung once more with her granddaughter. Alas, the little girl is stuck between tutorials and exams and Grandma is left disappointed. Two pieces of dim sum, Ha Gau and Siu Mai, feel sorry for Grandma, and take her granddaughter on an adventure through time - back to the high time of teahouse culture. Everything is familiar and strange, thrilling the young girl to no end. She even gets to meet her Grandma in her youth - it's a journey of surprises and laughter!
