DEAD SEXY Burlesque to Return to The Elektra Theater for Halloween

Terror has never been so titillating... "Dead Sexy: The Off-Broadway Play," returns to The Elektra Theater for Halloween, running October 16, 23 & 30 at 8:00pm, and Oct 29 at 11:59pm.

A Mad Doctor desperate to win his lover back-from the grave! A Twisted Assistant-conducting experiments on the side! An Enchanting Intern-with a sinister secret! Plus a zombie who's not all there, a vampire with stage fright, a bride of Frankenstein at her bachelorette party. ...And The Devil herself. This Halloween, step into the evil laboratory (and cabaret space) of Dr. Johanny Porkenpie & Co., where shocking experiments in undead striptease are a matter of course. We invite you to a place where love never dies-although pretty much everything else does-to learn the answer to that age-old question: What drives a Mad Doctor mad?

Brace yourself for a frighteningly seductive night of theater that mixes equal parts blood 'n' gore and bump 'n' grind when Dead Sexy: The Off-Broadway play returns for a laciviously limited engagement, October 16-30 at the Elektra Theater. Featuring of glamorous graveyard full of burlesque stars in an original script by Jonny Porkpie, playwright of Pinchbottom's Pretençión and The Bawdy House Off-Broadway, and author of The Corpse Wore Pasties (Hard Case Crime, 2009).

"We can't wait to share this hilarious, horrifying, terror-filled, titillating (and perhaps even touching) tale of love, death, and everything in between," said Porkpie. "This year, we have even more tingles running down our spine because the Burlesque Hall of Fame's 2016 reigning Queen of Burlesque Poison Ivory joins the cast, adding her talents to the already mindblowing swarm of superstars that haunted the stage in last year's hit Halloween debut, including BB Heart, Dirty Martini, Jo "Boobs" Weldon, Patrick Davis, Sizzle Dizzle, Tigger!, pickup artist Amuse Bouche, and special guest stars Boo Bess, Lux La Croix, Maine Attraction, Mr. Gorgeous, Pinkie Special, Rosey La Rouge."

This arousingly alarming-and alarmingly arousing -play runs four nights only at the Elektra Theater. Sneak Preview Sunday October 16 at 8:00pm, then Sundays Oct 23 and 30 at 8:00pm, with a special midnight show Saturday October 29 at 11:59pm.
