Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY), inspired by President Obama's National Day of Service and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service , offers service through music with two powerful and inspirational concerts today, January 20 and the 21st at Carnegie Hall featuring chorus and orchestra.

The Sounds of War and Peace (Chapters 1 and 2) features Jonathan Willcocks's epic A Great and Glorious Victory (Carnegie Hall premiere); Music for Future Peacemakers, works embodied with messages of hope conducted by Francesco Núñez; and Karl Jenkins' seminal work The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, conducted by Jonathan Griffith.
