Saturday, March 22nd, My Big Gay Italian Wedding will welcome another disco icon to officiate the wedding of "Anthony" and "Andrew." Cory who has been performing for four decades in concert halls across the world, is super excited and nervous to be gracing the stage for the first time in her career. Her performance that night will be followed up with a live performance where she will be singing two of her biggest hits, "Cherchez La Femme " and "Pow Wow.'

A true native New Yorker and one of the founding members of Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, vocalist Cory Daye became one of the most distinctive voices of the disco era. Cory's endearing and unique vocals were what made an impression on the everlasting timeless classics like "Cherchez La Femme", "I'll Play the Fool", Hard Times" and "Sour and Sweet." "Cherchez La Femme" was a huge hit single and number one on the Disco charts in 1976. Her debut album went Gold, and in 1977, her band was nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best New Artist Of 1976."

In 1979 Cory released her first solo album, Cory And Me, on Mottola's New York International Records label and included the hit classics like "Green Light" & "Pow Wow". Cory was also a featured vocalist and part of the group Kid Creole & The Coconuts, which kept her busy recording and traveling worldwide. In 1993 Cory also appeared in the film Lambada: The Forbidden Dance alongside Kid Creole performing two songs including the American version of Lambada originally by Kaoma.

Presented by Bianco Productions, both My Big Gay Italian Wedding and My Big Gay Italian Funeral are directed by Emmy Award-winning director Sonia Blangiardo ("All My Children", "One Life To Live, "As the World Turns") and star its creator Anthony J. Wilkinson who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November of 2003. Both shows are General Managed by 22Q Entertainment.
