Consuelo Mack WealthTrack Launches 10th Season with 2-Part Special Today

Weekly financial series Consuelo Mack WealthTrack kicks off its 10th season in high definition (HD) with a new, two-part special on "Women, Investing & Retirement" premiering nationwide on public television beginning tonight, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. (check local listings). Anchor and Executive Producer Consuelo Mack explains why the traditional financial planning approach doesn't work for women and reveals the financial products and strategies women need to have a secure retirement.

"Women live longer, typically have earned less and have different financial priorities than men. As we launch our 10th season on WealthTrack, helping women achieve long-term financial security is one of our top programming priorities," says Mack.

Guests for "Women, Investing & Retirement Part 1" (June 28, check local listings) are award-winning financial advisor Ami Forte, head of The Forte Group at Morgan Stanley, and GenSpring's Senior Strategist Jewelle Bickford. They discuss how women can identify and implement financial goals that are right for them. In "Women, Investing & Retirement Part 2" (July 5, check local listings) award-winning financial advisor Erin Botsford, president/CEO of The Botsford Group, and top retirement and social security expert Mary Beth Franklin, contributing editor, InvestmentNews, share specific strategies and products women can use to achieve financial security for themselves and their families.

This summer, WealthTrack explores "Insurance: The Next Big Thing in Retirement Investing" in a new special featuring Franklin and insurance expert Kimberly Lankford, a longtime Kiplinger's Personal Finance journalist. They predict that insurance products such as long-term care insurance, annuities and longevity insurance will become key sources of income for retirees, especially with the disappearance of defined benefit plans like old-fashioned pensions.

This season, Legg Mason's legendary value investor Bill Miller returns to give the series another exclusive TV interview. "WealthTrack is the most intelligent, thoughtful, investment interview show on the air," says Miller.

Consuelo Mack WealthTrack continues to give viewers pathways to build their financial security and tackle economic, market and political changes.
