Confirmed! Christina Aguilera Is EVITA For BROADWAY 4D; Aguilera & Nigel Wright Comment
International pop superstar and notable THE VOICE judge Christina Aguilera will essay one of the most iconic musical theatre roles of all time byway of her casting in a new Broadway-themed film experience called BROADWAY 4D - in no less than the role of Eva in EVITA.
Producer Nigel Wright took to Twitter to share a series of Tweets hinting at the crooner's participation earlier this week, sharing, "Yesterday was quite unbelievably brilliant. Tiring but amazing! Talent beyond in the room! Headache today! Blaming it on the 3d glasses!"
Aguilera commented on the commencement of recording her new album as well as BROADWAY 4D in a Tweet this weekend, as well, writing, "So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon...album, baby & beautiful music to come."
Wright replied, "
@xtina beautiful music. Thankyou x," in addition to sharing a shot of himself with the star in the studio recording "Don't Cry For Me Argentina", captioning it. "A great 2 days working with this talented and beautiful young lady!"
Furthermore, Wright also shared a peek behind the scenes, depicting a soundstage of the film currently in production in NYC.
Of note, a casting notice went out for BROADWAY 4D last month seeking the following, "Seeking SAG-AFTRA Character Types (18+ years old) to Portray Argentinians for the upcoming "Broadway 4D." This will shoot on 4/16 & 4/17, fittings will take place sometime between 3/31-4/4 (date TBD). You MUST be available for the work date and have open availability for a fitting next week. Men must be comfortable having hair cut in 1940's Argentina period style."
