Stageworks Media has announced announce Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth by Cynthia Von Buhler. A new chapter to Ms. von Buhler's Speakeasy Dollhouse, which has over the past two years become one of the city's most unique, interactive, and surreal theatre experiences, Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth brings von Buhler's unique brand of immersive theater to the legends of John Wilkes and Edwin Booth. Directed by Wes Grantom (Eager to Lose at Ars Nova), Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth will play monthly performances (on the first Saturday of the month) at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) beginning in March 2014.

David Arquette (Scream) and Gloria Reuben (Lincoln) star in the Lifetime Original Movie Happy Face Killer, premiering Saturday, March 1, at 8pm ET/PT. The movie follows the grisly true-crime story of a truck driver who, during his work travels across the country, kills numerous women and hauntingly leaves a confession of each murder with a scrawled happy face as cryptic evidence of his crime. Reuben portrays Melinda Gand, the FBI investigator leading the case.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and benefit two leading charitable organizations for America's wounded military service members, veterans and their families - Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness and the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes. Mr. Kearns will perform at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Variations Theatre Group's acclaimed production of David Rabe's HURLYBURLY will end its limited run this Saturday, March 1st at The Chain Theatre. The original production of HURLYBURLY took New York by storm in 1984, directed by Mike Nichols. Although the long-running Broadway hit was presented in three acts, David Rabe pared his script into a leaner two-act version for the 2005 Off-Broadway revival starring Ethan Hawke and Bobby Cannavale. It is this revised version which is presented by Variations Theatre Group by special arrangement with the playwright.

Playwrights Horizons has announced initial casting for the New York premiere production of STAGE KISS, a new play marking the eagerly-awaited return of two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl(Dead Man's Cell Phone at PH; The Clean House, In the Next Room...) to the theater company. Directed by Rebecca Taichman (Milk Like Sugar at PH; the current Marie Antoinette, Orlando, The Scene, Luck of the Irish), the production will begin previews Friday evening, February 7 at 8PM with an Opening Night set for Sunday, March 2 at 7PM. The limited engagement will play through Sunday evening, March 23 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced a one-week extension of Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani and directed by Jack Cummings III. Due to strong ticket sales, this first New York revival of one of the country's most produced plays will now play through Sunday, March 2 at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street at West 4 Street. Opening night is set for Tuesday, February 4. (Almost, Maine was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, February 23.)

Following an extensive European tour with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Thomas Hampson returns to the U.S. to make his role debut as the eponymous antihero of Alban Berg's Wozzeck, opening March 6 at New York's Metropolitan Opera. Hampson is joined in the new adventure by soprano Deborah Voigt, also making her role debut as Marie in Mark Lamos's staging, and Met music director James Levine - one of the work's most passionate advocates - on the podium. The production marks Hampson's third Met role debut in as many seasons, following performances last year of Iago in Verdi's Otello and in the title role of Verdi's Macbeth the previous season. The fifth and final performance of Wozzeck this season will be broadcast live on Saturday, March 22 in the Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast series on WQXR 105.9 FM and online at www.wqxr.org.
