Columbus Children's Theatre to Present Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, 4/30-5/10

Columbus Children's Theatre and American Electric Power present Disney's Beauty and The Beast, April 30-May 10, 2015 at The Lincoln Theatre 769 E. Long Street, Columbus, Ohio. This is a "tale as old as time" animated feature based on the book by Linda Wolverton.

Beauty and The Beast is based on the Academy-Award winning animated feature. You will be transported to the heart of provincial life in a lovely French town. When Maurice becomes lost in the woods on the way to the fair, he seeks shelter in an old castle, but the master of the castle is a horrible beast who takes him captive. Maurice's daughter, Belle, must then give up her freedom to save his life. Belle's taming of the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation back into a handsome prince enthralled Broadway audiences for over 13 years. This story is filled with hope and lessons of kindness.
