From January 25-28, Matt Trucano's (Columbia Directing 2017) new take on Tennessee Williams' classic, yet oft-untold story, CAMINO REAL, will light up The Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street).

In equal parts romance, farce, satire, and pagan ritual, CAMINO REAL sketches a dreamscape of the lonely heart, a space for critical self-reflection and possible spiritual redemption. Williams' richly textured imagery envelops the audience in a reverberating pageant of physical, emotional, and psychic landscapes which morph as in a dream: shockingly, kaleidoscopically, and inevitably.

CAMINO REAL features Odera Adimorah, Cecil Baldwin*, Alicia Ceron, Brenda Crawley, Cortney Gift, Kevin Gilmartin*, Cheryl Horne*, Rachel Jarvis, Yasmeen Jawhar, Adam Kampouris, James Lewis, Anita Moreno, Luca Mosca, Ron Orlovsky, Frank Poon, Eddie Powers, Neil Redfield, Fares (Sultana) Rizk, Sam Simone, Erica Slutsky, Tiffany Small, Lauren Wainwright, Memory Willis
