Colt Chambers and company, Colt D. Chambers Theatrical Enterprises, will serve as Lead Producer in the development and workshop of the brand-new musical, PANIC! The Musical.

PANIC! is a rough-edged new musical based on the songs and music of the American rock band Panic! At The Disco, with a book by Christina Rose Sabia, and concept by Alexis Acar.

PANIC! The Musical is about Oliver Murphy, a confident musician, who is recovering from the reckless behavior he developed after prematurely being thrown into the touring scene. His fortitude is suddenly uplifted after meeting the pristine Andi Witko, who is slowly but surely straying away from her faith after a recent tragedy lead her to question its validity. Panic! The Musical explores the journey of two young souls colliding their world's, and forming an unconventional bond that proves to be a mixed blessing.

The musical features songs from all four studio albums, including hits such as: "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies," "Lying is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off," "Ready to Go," "This Is Gospel," etc. PANIC! The Musical is a thrilling, whirlwind of emotions that will have you singing on the edge of your seat.

Colt Chambers, from Atlanta, Georgia, and known nationally as "America's Youngest Theatre Producer" (BroadwayGlobal), serves as the President of the International Music and Entertainment Association - a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and serving as an advocate to individuals and organizations within the performing arts and entertainment industries. Chambers' current projects include producing the IMEA Awards - an award show, presented by the International Music and Entertainment Association, developed to honor and recognize the best in independent music and theatre, internationally. In 2013, he had the honor of having Broadway's Eden Espinosa as the featured guest at the Inaugural IMEA Awards. Chambers has received Commendations from, both, the Governor of Georgia (Nathan Deal) and the House of Representatives for his success at such a young age, and even had the honor of speaking to students and alumni at the University of Georgia for his work and success in the performing arts. Don't let age deceive you here, Colt has had a lifetime worth of experience in only 18 years.

"I am honored to be able to be a key role in bringing the show to life," stated Chambers, when asked about producing PANIC! The Musical, "Christina [Rose Sabia] did an excellent job with the book and Alexis [Acar], the director, knew exactly what she wanted when she developed the concept for this show. I have been a fan of Panic! At The Disco for a long time, and their music has always had a theatrical sound in my opinion, so whenever I caught wind of this show, I knew I had to be involved. And, like myself, the creative team is young, but full of knowledge, and that's what we are trying to market: the young energy and youth. After all, we are the future of Broadway."

Colt has announced that the he and the creative team are currently planning to hold an industry workshop performance and reading in the late Spring/early Summer.

"I was introduced to Colt via the magic of social media (Twitter). From the very beginning the passion he has towards the show has been remarkable. I believe that things happen for a reason," said Director/Creator Alexis Acar when asked her thoughts on Colt Chambers producing PANIC!, "and bringing Colt onto the PANIC! team is one of those moments."

"It's inspiring to have Colt on our team. He shares our belief that anything is possible if you have enough determination," mentioned Christina Rose Sabia when asked the same question, "It's the perfect match."

The cast of PANIC! The Musical will be performing at 54 Below on Monday, March 24, at 11:30PM. There is a $15 cover charge and a $20 food and beverage minimum. Reservations can be made at www.54Below.com.
