iReach/ Cinedigm is proud to announce the U.S. release of Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir, a documentary starring Roman Polanski, and directed by Laurent Bouzereau. The film has received a number of positive reviews from its international releases.

Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir is the story of famous movie director Roman Polanski, as he tells it. Filmed while he was in Switzerland, this documentary highlights Polanski's career, and gives viewers insight into what his life was really like.

Roman Polanski and Andrew Braunsberg star in this documentary. The conversation between the two of them is highlighted with excerpts from Polanski's films, news footage, press clippings, private and exclusive photos, and documents chronicling the filmmaker's extraordinary life. Archival footage brings a number of famous faces to the film, including that of actress Sharon Tate, who was Polanski's first wife.

Critic David Rooney says, "Ultimately, while the film is not without interest for Polanski fans and certainly will land TV and festival slots, it adds little not already covered in his autobiography or in Marina Zenovich's 2008 doc[umentary], Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired. This pertains also to Polanski's persuasive account of judicial inconsistencies in the handling of his prosecution. Zenovich is completing a follow-up to her earlier film titled Roman Polanski: Odd Man Out, which focuses on the attempted extradition and hopefully might provide some sharper insights.

To some extent, it achieves [eloquence. But those merits are too often undercut by Braunsberg's maddeningly leading interview style.

The film is now available on iTunes for $12.99. Users can purchase and download the movie for viewing on a number of devices. The film has received positive critiques from a number of reviews at popular website, Rotten Tomatoes currently has it hovering around 90% a very impressive number for the popular film review website.
