Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner ("Django Unchained") Christoph Waltz makes his SNL hosting debut tonight, February 16. Waltz received an Oscar, SAG and Golden Globe award, among many others, for his performance in "Inglorious Basterds" in 2009.

Joining Waltz is Alabama Shakes, making their musical guest debut. The rock band recently received three 2013 Grammy Award nominations, including Best New Artist, for their critically acclaimed album "Boys & Girls."

"Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.

Waltz is known for his work with film-maker Quentin Tarantino in Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained. He received acclaim for his portrayal of SS-Standartenführer Hans Landa in the 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the BAFTA, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2009. He won a Golden Globe Award and has been nominated for an Academy Award for his role as Dr. King Schultz in the 2012 film Django Unchained.
