Winner of the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Large Ensemble Jazz Album for his recording, The Good Feeling, renowned bassist, composer, and bandleader Christian McBride brings his top-shelf Big Band to the Bass Concert Hall stage for an evening of extraordinary music.

For over 20 years, McBride has appeared in numerous musical settings with just about any musician imaginable in the jazz, R&B, and pop worlds. Christian McBride's appearances on more than 300 albums include sessions by many of the most illustrious figures in jazz, including Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, and Pat Metheny, as well as collaborations with artists as diverse as Kathleen Battle, Billy Joel, and Sting. Aside from his own ensembles, McBride has been the linchpin of various all-star projects, including John McLaughlin and Chick Corea's Five Peace Band, who performed at Bass Concert Hall in 2009.
