Revered Broadway legend Chita Rivera rings in 2014 at 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, for a special New Year's Eve engagement tonight, December 31 at 7PM and 11PM. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous multi-course dinner and toast the future with one of Broadway's most beloved stars.

Rivera's illustrious career in musical theatre includes creating the roles of Anita in West Side Story, Rosie in the original production of Bye Bye Birdie and Velma Kelly in the original production of Chicago. Ms. Rivera has been nominated for Tony Awards nine times and was awarded the Tony twice as Leading Actress in a Musical: for The Rinkand for her role in Kiss of the Spider Woman. She received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002 as well as the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Barack Obama in 2009. Tonight, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS honors Ms. Rivera with a gala birthday tribute celebrating her legendary career in show business.

Ms. Rivera will appear at 54 Below with her longtime trio: music director Michael Croiter, Michael Patrick Walker and Jim Donica.
