The Children's Museum of Manhattan will hold its Sunday Funday extravaganza on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 10:30 am to 2 pm at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. The ticketed event, benefiting the museum and sponsored by Nickelodeon, will bring together the best in family entertainment, indoor sports and games, creative workshops and fabulous food for the entire family.

Children ages 0-12 will enjoy age appropriate activities from live entertainment, sports celebrity appearances, Nickelodeon costume characters, mechanical rides and a bouncy castle. Kids can try Lego-inspired engineering with Play-Well TEKnologies, parachute play and a mini-monster maker. Infants and toddlers will enjoy soft play areas and sing-alongs, and themed art and science workshops for all ages will be run by museum educators. In addition, the museum will premiere its new interactive video installation Dance Portal at the event.

"We are thrilled to work with Nickelodeon on this 'fun-raising' event," said Andrew Ackerman, Children's Museum executive director. "We appreciate our common values, namely helping all children to thrive, to learn and to have fun! They are a wonderful partner."

Sunday Funday will also feature a photo booth, the Children's Museum's famous dance party, face painters, a mini race car track, a Tegu block wonderland, and so much more!

Tickets start at $95 (and $75 with member discount). For more information, visit www.cmom.org/funday.
