In an extensive new interview, Hannibal and PUSHING DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller discusses his desire to re-team with two of his most well-known past collaborators, Broadway/Hollywood crossover stars Kristin Chenoweth and Lee Pace.

Chenoweth and Pace both played pivotal roles on Fuller's PUSHING DAISIES, with Chenoweth going on to with an Emmy for her work on the far out but unfortunately short-lived series.

Fuller states, "I talked to Lee Pace about doing a role this season. But, he was doing a stage play and so we're planning to work that out with season two. He's definitely interested in doing the show and I would love to work with him again."

Remarking on Chenoweth's casting, Fuller opines, "I also very much want to work with Anna Friel again, and Kristin Chenoweth clearly has to play someone in the Boston arts scene. Perhaps an opera singer. So, we are hoping to make that all happen."

HANNIBAL currently features many theatre stars: Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Gillian Anderson and Raul Esparza, as well as guest appearances past and future by PUSHING DAISIES players Ellen Greene and Molly Shannon, among others.

HANNIBAL depicts the earlier life of famed psychiatrist and cannibal Hannibal Lector, originally played by Anthony Hopkins in the multi-Academy Award-winning feature film THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, which was followed up with a sequel, HANNIBAL, and a prequel, Red Dragon, all based on the novels by Thomas Harris. Additionally, Harris most recently wrote Hannibal RISING, a novel depicting the childhood of the central antagonist/protagonist of the novels.

NBC's Hannibal TV series follows Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and his interactions with confidant/mentor Hannibal Lector (Mads Mikkelsen) and takes place several years prior to the events in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, largely focused on the Red Dragon-era years when Lector worked alongside the FBI to track the most dangerous and violent serial killers on earth.
