Local McDonald's Owner Operator, PJ Fonseca is proud to announce the kick-off of a new summer music series featuring award-winning pianist Darius Frowner, along with talented local singers performing pop, jazz and show tunes. Performances will be held every Friday in May, beginning at 7:30pm, at the newly-remodeled McDonald's restaurant at 809 Sixth Avenue in New York. Opening night, May 5, will feature local singers Brittany Dorazio, Morgan Reilly and Logan Farine.

"I've been involved in the New York City downtown music scene for 25 years and am lucky enough to collaborate with many outstanding artists," said pianist Darius Frowner. "I am really excited to be bringing top-quality, fun and interactive entertainment to help kick off the new vision for McDonald's."

This newly re-opened McDonald's restaurant features a contemporary design concept which merges technology, elevated service and a sleek modern design to deliver a forward-thinking customer experience.

"As we create a modern and progressive customer experience here in our new restaurant, we are truly excited to introduce the public to this concept," said PJ Fonseca, McDonald's Owner Operator of the newly remodeled restaurant. "We are thrilled to have Darius perform a few times for us and are ready to host the other events to get our loyal customers excited!"

Pianist/Musical Director Darius Frowner will be joined by different singers each week who will dazzle customers with pop, theater, classic rock and soul genres. As Darius accompanies the singers on piano, he may call on audience volunteers to join in and share their talent. This will be a vibrant, energy-filled evening to pair with McDonald's elevated restaurant experience.

Darius Frowner is an award-winning musical director and pianist in the New York City area. He has worked on national tours and regional versions of several Broadway shows including Chicago, A Chorus Line and Once On This Island. He has also performed at benefits with notables such as Joan Rivers and Whoopi Goldberg. Frowner is not new to Cabaret Night -- for the past 25 years he has hosted a legendary open mic night at The Duplex Cabaret in New York City. After this music series ends, Frowner will travel to London and Paris to play for artists in summer concerts.
