Chashama is pleased to host Teen Art Gallery for a group exhibition, titled Do You Mind?, featuring the works of 27 young artists at chashama XOCO 325 West Broadway in SoHo. T.A.G.: Do You Mind? exhibits pieces by youth from a wide range of backgrounds whose art responds to topics like mental health and changing political climates. Curated by T.A.G. Co-Directors Gustie Owens, Amelia Connelly, and Jonathan Katz, T.A.G.: Do You Mind? is an exhibition that provides visibility and recognition to work that would otherwise remain unseen.

T.A.G.: Do You Mind? features works by Matt Weinberger, Kat Soddy, Ruthanne Ward, William Gary, Isabel Sorenson, Alexis Ryan, Zoe Vogelsang, Caitlyn Statchura, Jacob Perez, Irene Brogdon, Xiaoyi Jessica Han, Paula Mascuch, Elisabeth Rohde, Deirdre Irvine, Sam Glass, Daniela Barbera, Olga Ush, Tehreem Mela, Andrew Noorily, Cy Goudsmit, Julissa Ramirez, Camila Frater, Julia McCaw, Ariella Greenberg, Anna Frants, Grady Sumrall, and Jack Adam. Curated by T.A.G. Co-Directors Gustie Owens, Amelia Connely, and Jonathan Katz.

Teen Art Gallery (T.A.G.) was founded in 2011 and promotes the work of artists under 20. Run by a group of high school students, T.A.G. is committed to creating opportunities for young people to share their art in a professional setting. By connecting artists to a wider audience, T.A.G. provides visibility and recognition to work that would otherwise remain unseen. Teen Art Gallery has previously exhibited at Creative Time, BravinLee Programs, and Salon 94. Teen Art Gallery is run by Co-Directors Gustie Owens, Amelia Connelly, and Jonathan Katz and Teen Board Members Devon Ma, Surya Gowda, Matt Weinberger, Leah Shifrel, Annie Liu, Delila Ames, Rachel Lee, Zoe Vogelsang, Catharine Beck, Sophie Young, and Kathy Gaweda.

chashama supports artists and nurtures creative communities in New York City, and beyond, by partnering with property owners to activate unused real estate into spaces for artists to work and present. Currently, chashama manages over 125 artist studios, six galleries, five curated office lobbies, two performance venues, and provides affordable artist housing
