Center Stage Jackson will present Harvey, a Pulitzer-Prize-winning comedy in three acts by Mary Chase. Directed by Doug Meyers, Harvey is a charming telling of the story of a very likeable and pleasant man who's best friend happens to be an invisible six and one half foot tall rabbit. The play was adapted into a 1950 film that garnered an Academy Award nomination for James Stewart for best actor and a best supporting actress Academy Award for Josephine Hull for best actress in a supporting role.

Performances will be held two weekends at the Middle School at Parkside auditorium, today, February 7th-9th and 14th-16th, 2014. Friday and Saturday performances are held at 7pm, Sunday performances at 2pm. There will also be one special performance for Parkside students during school hours on February 13th.

Cast members include Mike Reed, Melissa McElhone, Steven Owsley, Doug Meyers, Samantha Markham, Scott Hutchins, Mel Losey, Todd Lutz, Chris Rebescher, Michelle Haas and Joseph Gerring.
