Brown University alumni Rebecca Bellingham and Katharine Powell Roman have founded a theater company, Sweet Chaos Theater Project, dedicated to producing new plays about family where every ticket sold helps a family.

To launch the company, they are producing a benefit reading, "Tipping Points," a collection of world-premiere, short plays by Brooke Berman, Halley Feiffer, Kate Gersten, Paul Grellong, Kenneth Lin, Winter Miller, Nilaja Sun, Austin Winsberg, and a special reading by Sarah Ruhl from her book, "100 Essays I Don't Have Time to Write." Carolyn Cantor is directing. It is being performed at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway and W.95th) on Monday, September 28 at 7 pm with a wine reception directly following the performance. Proceeds from the event will help fund home libraries for families living in low-income community housing in Harlem in association with Litworld.

Casting for the reading includes Maria Dizzia, Glenn Fleshler, Betty Gilpin, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Jennifer Lim, Ali Marsh, and Frederick Weller (with future cast members to be announced)

Tickets cost $65.To purchase tickets: visit www.sweetchaostheater.org or call Symphony Space 212-864-5400
