On Thursday, April 13, 2017 the Staten Island Children's Museum is celebrating the life of late multi-talented musician, Prince, with activities and music all day. So rev up your Little Red Corvette, put on your Raspberry Beret and get ready to Party Like it's 1999!

10:00 am to 5:00 pm Bring your camera, and take your photo with a life-sized Prince cutout

11:00 am to 1:00 pm Facepainting & screening of "Sesame Street & the Muppets-with Prince!"

1:00 pm to 4:30 pm Make a purple Rain Maker in the Walk In Workshop.

2:00 pm Watch Kimba, our Sun Conure, paint a purple masterpiece!

2:30 pm to 4:30 pm Prince Dance Party and Singalong with Patrick & the Rock-a-silly Band!

4:30 pm Purple Balloon Drop!

Join the fun from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. All activities are free with Museum admission.

The Staten Island Children's Museum is located on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 11 am to 5 pm during the school year; 10 am to 5 pm weekends, summers and most public school holidays. The Staten Island Children's Museum is housed in a building owned by the City of New York and its operation is made possible, in part, with public funds provided through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs with support from the Staten Island delegation to the NYC Council and the Staten Island Borough President. Significant operating support is also provided by the NYS Council on the Arts, Corporations, Foundations, the Trustees and Members.
