In honor of Veteran's Day, Carrollwood Players is offering active military and veterans a discount to enjoy the final two performances of CALIFORNIA SUITE at the theatre, 4333 Gunn Highway.

Military personnel and a guest can see Neil Simon at his funniest on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at 8pm for just $10.

Though the local nonprofit community theatre regularly discounts all military admission, this 50% savings was "our way to say thank you for everything you do and have done on a daily basis," said Ann Lehman, Carrollwood Players Board of Directors' President. "We want our servicemen and women to come and enjoy a fun night of live entertainment."

CALIFORNIA SUITE tells a story in three vignettes. The first segment features Marvin, in town for his nephew's bar mitzvah, must explain to his wife, as only a Neil Simon character can, the existence of a very drunk prostitute in his room. In yet another story, we learn that the best laid vacation plans of two couples can go riotously awry. And finally, a pair of Hollywood stars are in town for the Academy Awards, as well as some amusing, eyebrow raising activities.

Discounted military tickets to California Suite may be purchased online at carrollwood-players-theatre.ticketleap.com/california-suite/. Regular tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and students. For more information, visit www.carrollwoodplayers.org.

Tampa's nonprofit community theatre since 1981, Carrollwood Players offers a regular season of quality live theatre in its 100-seat playhouse, along with alternative theatre selections in its new intimate 60-seat black box performance space.
