If you need a good laugh, Bay Street Theatre will be the place to be on Monday nights this summer. Stand-up comedian and actress Caroline Rhea will kick off an all-star line up of Bay Street's comedy series on June 8 at 8:00 p.m.

One of stand-up comedy's biggest stars, Caroline Rhea is one of the top "funny girls" of stage and screen. From comedy clubs to major motion pictures, Caroline offers a fresh and smart humor. She pokes fun at anything and everything from first dates to last rites and celebrities to members of her audience. She performs to sold-out audiences around the country, including at Bay Street. She even served up her humor as one of the guest auctioneers at Bay Street's fundraising gala last year.

Ms. Rhea has performed at comedy clubs throughout the United States and Canada. Originally from Montreal, she got her feet wet in comedy at New York's Catch a Rising Star. She became a household name with numerous appearances on "Comic Strip Live" and "MTV's Half-Hour Comedy Hour." Movie lovers may recognize her from Man on the Moon co-starring Jim Carrey about the late comedian Andy Kaufman, Christmas With the Kranks opposite Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ready to Rumble, opposite Oliver Platt, David Arquette and Scott Caan. On television, Ms. Rhea just completed another grand finale season of NBC's "The Biggest Loser", and starred as Aunt Hilda on The WB sitcom "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" as well as Drew's girlfriend on "The Drew Carey Show."
