Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! welcomes Pearce Bunting, Carolee Carmello, Michael Mastro and David McDonald to Broadway at the Cadillac Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway at 50th Street). MAMMA MIA!'s fifth anniversary will be marked by a special performance and celebration on Wednesday, October 18th at 7PM.

Tony Award® nominated actress Carolee Carmello (Parade, Lestat, Urinetown) returns to the Broadway company as "Donna Sheridan" on Wednesday, September 27th. Olga Merediz (Reckless, Les Misérables) and Judy McLane (Johnny Guitar, Kiss of the Spiderwoman) continue in the roles of Donna's best friends and former back-up band, "Rosie" and "Tanya," who reunite on a Greek island for the wedding of Donna's daughter, Sophie.

David McDonald (Les Miserables, Side Show) has joined the cast as "Sam Carmichael." The two other men from Donna's past will be played by Pearce Bunting (Mamma Mia! national tour) as "Bill Austin" and Michael Mastro (Twelve Angry Men, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof) as "Harry Bright," who both join the cast on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006.

Sophie Sheridan is played by Carey Anderson, who made her Broadway debut after starring in the national tour of MAMMA MIA! Her fiancé "Sky" is played by Andy Kelso and Ben Gettinger plays his sidekick "Pepper," both men also making their Broadway bows. The cast also features Samantha Eggers (Lisa), Veronica J. Kuehn (Ali) and Raymond J. Lee (Eddie).

Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. Songs including "Dancing Queen"; "The Winner Takes It All"; "Money, Money, Money" and "Take A Chance on Me" are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter.

There are currently 11 productions of MAMMA MIA! running around the world (9 resident productions and 2 tours). With three productions playing in North America alone, MAMMA MIA! has more productions playing around the world than any other current Broadway musical and can be experienced in six different languages globally (English, Swedish, Spanish, German, Japanese and Korean). With a worldwide gross of over $1.6 Billion and audiences of over 27 million people worldwide, MAMMA MIA! is acclaimed by the Associated Press as "quite simply, a phenomenon."

Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, the creative team responsible for bringing MAMMA MIA! to theatrical life includes some of the most gifted and celebrated talents of musical theatre and opera. With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. MAMMA MIA! has choreography by Anthony Van Laast, production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
