Career Transition For Dancers presents The Second Annual "HEART & SOUL" Awards Luncheon Celebrating the "Most Fashionable" of the Palm Beach Spirit on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:30 am at Club Colette in Palm Beach, FL. There will be a fashion show of "Costumes from the Dance" The costumes of numerous dance classics such as APOLLO, CARMINA BURANA, DON QUIXOTE, FIREBIRD, GISELLE, LA BAYADERE, LAMENTATION, SWAN LAKE, THE RITE OF SPRING, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, to name a few are being provided by the top dance companies in the country and will be modeled by dance from the area. A complete list of the companies and the costumes will soon be announced. Chair Anka Palitz stated "The Dance Companies have all been so enthusiastic, agreeing to help Career Transition For Dancers Palm Beach luncheon, and to bring awareness. of our very unique organization and the service we provide to their former dancers!"

With of­fices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and a mobile National Outreach Project, the organization has provided over 46,000 hours of individual and group counseling, with a dollar value of over $4 million in educational and entrepreneurial grants. Outside of the or­ganization's 4,600 active clients, the organization has helped thousands of dancers in 47 states take their first steps towards discovering reward­ing post-performance careers.
