Cape Rep Theatre presents 9-Ball, by local playwright, Art Devine (author of Winter Wheat and last season's hit new play, The Bottom of the Sky). It runs tonight, June 20 through July 13, 2013. Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7 pm, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm, Sunday, June 30 at 2 pm. No performances June 25 or July 4. Tickets are $25. Pay-What-You-Can-Night is the first Friday, June 21. The year is 1967. Over a game of pool, two young men swap identities. One goes to prison; the other to war. Inspired by true events and pulsating with the sights and sounds of the late 1960s, 9-Ball was Art Devine's hugely successful first play at Cape Rep and is being brought back by popular demand.

Art Devine directs the remounting of his hit play, with the original Set Design by Dan Joy and the original Sound Design by Tim Healy. This production also includes the talents of Lighting Designer, Kevin Wilson, Resident Costume Designer, Robin McLaughlin, [Text Box:] Sound Designer, Aaron Mack and Properties by Mary Fritz.

The cast features Morgan West as Richie and James Sawyer as Larry surrounded by a very talented ensemble of actors: Sam Gillam, Brandon Green, Zach Brown, Tucker Delaney-Winn, Ryan McCarthy, Steve Ross and Kevin Quill.

Cape Rep Theatre's 2013 Indoor Theatre season opened with Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Anna Christie, directed by Maura Hanlon running through June 2. Following 9-Ball is the Tony-winning Broadway Musical hit, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, music, book and lyrics by Rupert Holmes, directed by Victoria Flores with Musical Direction by Scott Storr which runs July 25 through August 24. The ground-breaking musical, Next to Normal, music by Tom Kitt, book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, directed by Kristin McLaughlin with Musical Direction by Scott Storr runs September 19 through October 13 and we will close our season with a Surprise to be announced...running November 7 through December 8.

Our Outdoor Theatre features summer performances for children and their families and opens on June 25 with Dinosaur Pirates from Outerspace!, a new musical by Maura Hanlon running at 10 am Tuesdays and Wednesdays and, Mary Wilson's popular, Pitter Patter Puppets at 10 am on Thursdays through August 29.
