San Diego Musical Theatre is thrilled to announce the cast for its third and final production of its 2010-2011 season, the singular sensation, the nine-time Tony Award-winning musical, A CHORUS LINE with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, musical direction by Don LeMaster and directed and choreographed by Robert Marra (recreating Michael Bennett's original choreography). A CHORUS LINE will preview on Friday, May 27, 2011 and will open on Saturday, May 28 and run through Sunday, June 12 at the Lyceum Theatre at Horton Plaza, 79 Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego.

A CHORUS LINE is a stunning musical-verite about a chorus audition for a Broadway musical. It tells of the achingly poignant ambitions of professional Broadway gypsies to land a job in the show, and is a powerful metaphor for all human aspiration. Memorable musical numbers include "I Can Do That," "At the Ballet," "Dance: Ten; Looks: Three," "The Music and the Mirror," "What I Did for Love," "One (Singular Sensation)" and "I Hope I Get It." It is a brilliantly complex fusion of dance, song and compellingly authentic drama. The show was instantly recognized and remains a musical theatre classic!

The cast of A CHORUS LINE will feature - Megan Campanile as Maggie (Disney?s ?The Little Mermaid? & National tour of Little House on the Prairie, the Musical), Alexis Carra as Cassie (Broadway: Sweet Charity, Fosse and The Pirate Queen), Brandon Davidson as Bobby (New York and Tour Credits: No No Nanette (City Center Encores!), White Christmas), CARLOS MARTIN as Zach (Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone, Skip in Life Could Be A Dream), Leslie Stevens as Sheila (Broadway: Originated the role of Anne in La Cage Aux Folles and appeared in Victor/Victoria), Jill Townsend as Val of (Bye Bye Birdie for SDMT); and also RAUL AVINA as Frank, ANDRA CASTON as Tom, BEATRICE CROSBIE as Bebe, BETHANY ELKIN as Lois, Roger Ellis as Richie, EMILY GORDON as Vicki LUKE H.
